Principal
Hello Rumney School Community!
I am so excited to be in my 5th year as principal of Rumney. I currently have two children that are students at Rumney, and one child at U-32. All of my children had such a positive experience here, so I was thrilled to be able to join and support the staff in the role of school leader.
One of my favorite aspects of my job, is being an instructional leader. I love sharing my experiences with teachers so we can brainstorm, solve problems, and improve practices together.
To describe our school in one word, I would say "smooth" or "calm" or "welcoming." Okay, I can't pick just one word. Instead, I will share with you the vision statement that the staff and I designed together: "We are a joyful community that is inclusive and guides children toward curiosity, resilience, and compassion."
